The easy way to roll a number - is the opposite of rolling a number the hard way. For example the hard way to roll a 4 would be to roll a 2+2 - whereas its much easier to roll 4 with a 1+3 or any other way then a pair. The Edge refers to the house Advantage on a bet - normally this would be a percentage. For example the house edge on the pass line bet is 1.414% and the Edge on the Don't pass bet is 1.402%.
