PartyPoker To Improve Online Gambling Software

The introduction of legalized online poker in America’s Garden State New Jersey has had a few ups and downs and with the popularity growing at a slow rate consumers in the jurisdiction are asking operators for better service. The old saying that ‘the squeaky wheel gets the grease’ has become a reality as players on the PartyPoker site in New Jersey have created a petition to lobby the site to change its existing software.

PartyPoker has finally listened to customers and is scheduled to add a “wait list solution” to its online poker offering after literally months of complaining by patrons. Partypoker, operates with the Atlantic City Borgata casino and is the most successful operator in New Jersey jurisdiction generating, $3.4 million (€2.78m) of the $8.7 million online gambling made in New Jersey this November.

The issue of getting a seat at a poker table at an online poker site is one that many players have encountered much to the poker fan’s chagrin. Most sites allow players to join in at tables via the poker site’s lobby and when a table is full players must keep checking back to the site to obtain a place in the games. The checking back often is frustrating and somewhat annoying for fans who want to play when they have a little time to do so. Other sites have a feature that creates a waiting list for the player that notifies the player when a spot becomes available for play. Back in May players made their voices heard via a petition and asked PartyPoker to upgrade the software and introduce an application on its site that creates a notifying wait list.

PartyPoker has responded via the online poker forum Two Plus Two with a positive statement that has said it will provide a waiting list application on its site soon, solving the long term issue and ending the frustration players have experienced.
