France Pari Acquires Suertia For Spanish Online Sports Betting

The dominant online gambling sector appears to be the sports betting market at approximately 40 percent of wagers placed. Gambling service providers are constantly adding new products and have many different sports and games to offer the sports betting fan.

To ensure the future of online sports betting some firms have merged or acquired other entities to further the growth of a sports betting strategy. It was recently revealed that France Pari has acquired 100 percent of the assets of Spanish gaming operator Suertia. This news is in keeping with the mergers and acquisition trend in the online gambling industry. Suertia

Suertia is an online sports book from Spain which also offers casino games, live in-play betting, mobile casinos, and mobile sports books using Kambi, Microgaming, and Proprietary software licensed in Spain. It is now owned by France Pari SAS. The site's primary language is Spanish and it supports both downloadable software and the ability to place a wager without a download.

France Pari was established in 2008, and is both an online operator in regulated sports betting markets and a provider of a turnkey betting solution with Sportnco as its subsidiary. The group has developed its own platform solution, with its team of engineers and developers.

France Pari is an active participant in the French, Belgian and Maltese sports betting markets and now with this acquisition it will venture into the Spanish market place. A company statement said, “The acquisition of a company like Suertia with such a potential growth on the dynamic Spanish sports betting market opens a new stream of development for our group, both for acting directly as an operator and also for providing our sports book and our technology to other operators,”

The CEO of Suertia, Eduardo Losilla, also said,  “After five years of strong competition with multinational operators, I am proud to sell Suertia to an international fast-growing company, that will maintain the team, the spirit and values that have conducted Suertia to its first successes.”
