Intertain Now Jackpotjoy Online Bingo Goes Over the Pond

Canada is home to some of the biggest and most promising online gambling companies anywhere in the world. When an investor looks at the big picture it becomes clear that the business climate for online gambling ventures is very good in the so called Great White North. Amaya Gaming is located in Montreal Quebec and has continued to serve the online betting customer from all over the planet since it took over Poker Stars and Full Tilt. On February 27, 2014 the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan bought the license to operate the Irish National Lottery for twenty years. They already as of 2010 acquired Camelot Group plc, which has an exclusive licence to operate the UK National Lottery.

Internet gambling firms go where they feel it is necessary to make a profit and each one of the thousands on the internet has a strategy. Toronto based Intertain Group is an online gaming company that provides entertainment to a global consumer base. Intertain currently offers bingo and casino to its customers using the InterCasino, CostaBingo, Vera&John, Jackpotjoy, and Botemania.es brands.

The firm has recently announced it will rebrand itself as Jackpotjoy when it completes its relocation to the United Kingdom. “We are excited to have reached these important milestones in implementing the UK strategic initiatives,” Neil Goulden, the Chairman of the Board for Intertain commented.

Intertain has proposing that its shareholders exchange their Toronto-listed shares for Jackpotjoy's London-listed shares on a one-for-one basis when the switch to the London local is complete.

Goulden added, “We continue to believe that these initiatives will result in a fuller and more appropriate valuation of our business and that they position Intertain for long-term growth and success.

“We are also excited to be taking the UK strategic initiatives to our shareholders at the meeting later this month, and to providing them with an opportunity to consider and approve the arrangement, which is necessary for us to proceed with these proposals.”
