BETFAIR'S MOBILE WILL BE FROM ZONE4PLAY
Fourth quarter target for completion
Technology provider Zone4Play signed up market leading Betfair this week for a mobile exchange betting system to be operational by the fourth quarter 2005.
The service will be marketed to the 350,000 registered Betfair users as well as to new customers who use mobile phones as their primary exchange betting platform. Zone4Play will charge a monthly subscription fee of Betfair's existing customers who opt for the mobile betting service. Additionally, Zone4Play will participate in a betting revenue sharing agreement for new users who use the service.
Idan Miller, Zone4Play's Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales said, "This agreement represents an opportunity for Zone4Play to significantly enhance its position in the multi-billion dollar mobile sports betting arena.
