GAMING CORPORATION EARNINGS UP ON NEW ACQUISITIONS

GBP 105 000 net income from Gambling.com in first month under new owners

London-based Gaming Corporation is already reaping the rewards of its recent Internet gambling acquisitions (see earlier InfoPowa reports) it appears. CEO Justin Drummond has revealed that in its first month under GC's control Gambling.com produced a pleasing GBP 105 000 in net income.

Gaming Corporation bought leading portal Got2Bet and Gambling.com earlier this year and has continued its acquisition strategy with the purchase of its largest affiliate site, Casino.ie, for GBP 60,000 recently.

Drummond said it marked the start of the firm’s expansion into the Euro-zone, and that he expected the already strongly performing site to benefit from being brought into the Gaming Corporation group.

“We believe Casino.ie can be significantly improved upon when the marketing and promotional expertise we possess is brought to bear,” Drummond said. "We will convert the website, currently transacting in sterling, into a euro denominated site and will use Casino.ie to form the basis for our expansion into Europe and the euro zone."

Gaming Corporation has also reported strong growth in its recently launched mobile casino product, which is operated in association with the UK network operator Orange, recording over a thousand registered players in the first few weeks of operation, despite the limited “soft” launching.

Future plans also include adding new proprietary gaming sites in addition to its Boss Media-powered online casino. Drummond says that his company is in negotiations with software suppliers “...with a view to increasing margins and the range of gaming products” it offers.
