NEW MARKETING CHIEF FOR GET MINTED
National advertising campaign planned
Online gambling site Getminted, which is owned by the UK group Cashcade Limited
has appointed Gloria Gonzalez as Head of Marketing.
The marketing specialist
has a wealth of experience working in various roles in the telecomms market for
Ericsson, PageOne, O2, iTouch and Zed over the last 15 years.
Gonzalez
will handle the promotion of Getminted and partners like Bet Play and Win, Get
Minted Bingo and Get Minted Poker through offline and online media. Although she
only joined the group last month, she is already the driving force behind a national
advertising campaign heavily promoting the bingo, monopoly and poker products
offline at a number of sites throughout the UK.
Gonzalez says she intends
to put Getminted on the map as the place to go for lighthearted gaming fun. "I
want to create an approachable brand and I will be looking at classic direct response
above and below the line marketing techniques, which the company has not employed
before to complement its online presence, she says.
