Following our earlier Online-Casinos.com & InfoPowa report, further detail
on the British skill gaming start-up The Money Gaming Corporation is now
available, including the revelation that the company is to spend GBP 1 million
on advertising its site when it launches in the near future.
Money Gaming says it is planning a print media and online campaign for what it
claims is the first high stakes skill gaming site, with an outdoor
campaign due in the autumn. The firm said international campaigns will follow,
with specific attention paid to North America, Europe and the Far East.
We plan to invest a significant amount in marketing over the coming years
and have already achieved 150,000 pre-launch sign-ups, Marc Shine,
MGC head of marketing, said.
The company faces will have to fight off fierce competition in the burgeoning
skill gaming sector from companies such as WorldWinner, Midas Player, Gaming Account
and FUN Technologies, which all have deals with major online portals and gaming
operators.
MoneyGaming said it will shortly release details of significant strategic partnerships
with a number of household brands.
The firm uses proprietary software, which it said was developed at a cost of over
GBP 10 million.
