NEW POKER NETWORK FROM CHARTWELL TECH

Micropower acquisition opens new possibilities for Canadian turnkey company

Chartwell Technology has launched its new community poker offering PokerNexus following the acquisition of Micropower Corporation in May (see earlier Online-Casinos.com & InfoPowa reports).

Initially launched with two European client companies, Chartwell expects to grow its community with further clients attracted to the features, functionality and back-end tool-set, essential to successfully compete in today's innovative poker environment.

Managed by Eliteclub Management, Poker Nexus is supported by poker players and experienced gaming operators. The network of independent online poker rooms enables each member to retain full control and confidentiality of their own players and data such as the use of existing payment systems.

Darold Parken, President and CEO of Chartwell said: "By adding advanced poker software and a greatly expanded poker team, we have enabled the company to launch a feature-rich, scalable product that meets the needs of all of our clients. We anticipate poker related revenues to be a substantial contributor to Chartwell's overall revenues in the years to follow".
