Bodog Poker Network Bodog 88 Expands into the Asian Market

Although has been in the news lately with a certain air of uncertainty the Bodog Brand continues to forge ahead with its strategic plan. A recent press release has confirmed the company’s aim of penetrating further into the rich and fertile Asian markets. There is no doubt the appetite is there for poker as well as other gaming venues in the Asian population.

The launch of the Bodog Network last year has ushered in a new style that the creators believe will revolutionize the poker market. The Recreational Poker Model has very much influenced the actual type of player the model intends to cultivate at its green tables. The influence is being felt across the industry with many other poker rooms on the net changing the rakeback structure of their sites. Microgaming produced more anonymous tables in its offering making all of its Heads Up tables anonymous. Recently PokerStars has also come around by introducing the casual player friendly ‘Zoom Poker’ to their line of products.

The trend is catching on and the Bodog Poker Network is expanding its goals and is now making the model available in Asia with Bodog88.
Jonas Odman, Vice President of the Bodog Poker Network, said, “Adding Bodog88 to the Network will not only give us increased liquidity but also a chance to market our product to a new audience who haven’t been clouded by those looking to protect the existing status quo of the few taking from the many.”
Robert Gustafsson, Managing Director of Bodog88, commented, “Poker is still in its infancy in Asia but the Bodog product is totally in line with how Asian players think: Trust is vital. This is why they only use Live Dealer casinos over the more common RNG casino in Europe. I can see anonymous tables making a similar impact over here.”
