Playtech Online Gambling Software Licensees Launch in Spain

Playtech the online gambling software supplier continues its expansion plans as it announces it is operational in the Spanish jurisdiction. The announcement that Playtech, one of the world’s leading gambling software experts will be listed on the London Stock exchange crested a new era for the firm which has been in business for the last thirteen years. After it posted a capitalization of £1 billion, the company realized its aspirations to become recognized as a solid and progressive firm with great growth potential. Playtech recently revealed that their licensees are now online and their casino and poker rooms are up and running in the newly liberated Spanish online gambling market. Playtech’s Chief Executive Officer, Mor Weizer, issued a press release statement saying, “We are excited to see our licensees launch in Spain. The Spanish market is important to Playtech and a benchmark within the European regulated environment.” Weizer continued to explain, “We are confident that our innovative and fully-compliant casino and poker products will set the standard for others to follow in Spain,”

Playtech was ready ahead of schedule with software applicable to the Spanish market making it possible for the operators powered by Playtech to launch ahead of the competition, getting the first to market advantage. Playtech has the unique advantage of being a multi-licensee poker network with the introduction of its new poker room which adheres to the requirements of the new Spanish online gambling legislation and regulatory framework.
