Online Gambling Firm Gamesys Partners with Tropicana Casino

The online gambling market in the USA is going through massive changes and there are European online gambling firms that are taking advantage of the new opportunities.

In Europe and especially in the United Kingdom many internet wagering operators have gained a great deal of experience in the business. Some of these successful companies and are being sought out by American land based casino owners to help develop an online betting platform in the U.S. jurisdictions that now allow for online betting.

The well known Tropicana Casino and Resort announced recently it will partner with Gamesys Limited, one of Europe’s leading online gambling operations. Gamesys runs the website and offers Internet gambling in the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Sweden. While critics believe the internet gambling potential in New Jersey is over estimated ranging from $200 million to $1.2 billion in annual revenues.

Noel Hayden, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gamesys commented, “We have always sought ambitious partners and Tropicana Atlantic City is a great partner for Gamesys as Internet gaming comes to New Jersey,” Hayden, continued to add, “We look forward to working with the team at Tropicana to leverage the very best of the Gamesys platform and capabilities to serve existing customers and win new customers online.”

Tropicana’s president and CEO, Tony Rodio, predicted the Gamesys partnership will allow the casino to generate new revenue and expand its customer base. “Gamesys has a proven track record in the United Kingdom of providing excellent products and customer service, and we look forward to launching Tropicana’s Internet gaming business with them,” Rodio maintained.

The partnership between land based casinos and online gambling operators is a requirement to obtain a license to offer online betting in America similar to some jurisdictions in Europe. Other high profile gambling firms in the States have announced deals with European internet gambling service companies such as 888 who struck an arrangement with Caesars Entertainment Corporation recently.
