Loss into profit in half year to date
Australian online gambling group Betcorp is the latest target of rumours speculating that the board may be considering a listing on the London Stock Exchange.
The gambling group delivered a half-year net profit of $2.4 million recently compared to loss of a $2.7 million ($US 2 million) in the prior corresponding period.
Betcorp said the result was comfortably ahead of internal forecasts and reflected a re-positioning strategy undertaken over the past year, but has so far not commented on the reports of a London listing.
