NASCAR and Bally Technologies Team Up For Online Racing

Mention the word NASCAR and most people who like racing cars know how big it is. NASCAR races are extremely popular and media coverage is enormous. Bally Technologies Incorporated has just announced that is has signed a licensing agreement with the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.

Nevada’s Gaming Commission just awarded Bally Technologies a license to supply interactive entertainment. Bally has wasted no time getting an interactive platform happening in the State of Nevada. There will be a bonus lift for the company’s virtual car racing game which along with a progressive slot featuring the NASCAR brand will unfold as a part of the Elite Bonusing Suite. These exceptional new entries to the interactive world in Nevada will debut at the Global Gaming Expo.

Dan Savage, Corporate Marketing Vice-President for Bally Technologies said, "The millions of NASCAR fans who attend and tune in to watch races attest to the unprecedented popularity of this sport," Savage added, "The racing theme is a great fit for our industry and we've confirmed the appeal of the brand in our player testing."

Blake Davidson, Licensing and Consumer Products Vice-President for NASCAR also had a comment to make on the arrangement between the two companies, "It has been as rewarding as it has been enjoyable to work with Bally Technologies on this amazing game and Virtual Racing product," Davidson added, "Our research tells us that we have good cross-over between race fans who are often also casino players so translating the fast-paced excitement of our events to the thrill of casino play makes perfect sense."
