WILLIAM HILL ITV VENTURE LAGS
Yoomedia blames GBP 4.6 million losses on lacklustre revenues
Judging by UK press comments on Yoomedia's latest financial reportage, the iTV
companys teamwork with William Hill has not produced the sort of results that
were anticipated.
The public iTV technology firm reported half year losses up at GBP 4.6 million
as its joint venture TV project with the UK gambling group had not met expected
revenue targets. Key Channel 425 developments were "...delayed in implementation,"
the the Yoomedia report revealed.
Taking a more positive perspective, however the report said that the company
was confident that developments on the channel would get back on schedule in
the coming months. "The outlook for the channel and our partnership with
William Hill is very positive," it added.
