It is always interesting to see old school businesses step up to the challenges of the new age and excel beyond expectations. One such iconic company is Bally Technologies the maker and innovation producing gambling machine creator that most land based casino goers are familiar with.
Founded by young entrepreneur Raymond T. Moloney in 1932 the Bally Manufacturing Company was created as the manufacturing arm of parent company Lions Manufacturing Corporation in Chicago to develop a small, but highly profitable, pinball game called the “Ballyhoo.”

Changing with the times this firm has maintained a standard of excellence and continues to be a step ahead of the ordinary.
Bally Technologies, recently announced the launch of its new Remote Gaming Server (RGS) product for online and mobile gaming. Using the Bally RGS operators of land casino operators without an online-gaming presence will be able to introduce play-for free games for the first time.

“The Bally Remote Gaming Server allows operators to integrate Bally games into their online portals. When combined with Bally’s systems, the Bally Interactive products will deliver a single-view of the player – on the casino floor, at home, and on the move. The way in which these products will be integrated across multiple platforms will provide powerful cross-marketing tools for operators and dynamic bonusing benefits for their players.” A Bally spokesperson commented.
Bally Technologies’, Senior vice president of Technology Bryan Kelly explained, “Bally’s integration of the RGS into our cloud-based mobile platform gives operators the ability to incorporate our play-for-free or wager-based games into their mobile offerings. This means they can deliver a virtualized casino experience for players online and through their mobile devices.”
These actions indicate the company commitment to the introduction of online gambling to the world of wagering. Richard Haddrill, CEO of Bally Technologies, said, “Our company made the decision several years ago to focus our energy and investments on being a leader in supplying technology to the gaming industry. The recent name change to Bally Technologies, Inc. is a reflection of the progress we have made toward that goal and an extension of our long-term strategic plan,”
