WPT'S PROFESSIONAL POKER TOUR DATES CONFIRMED
The action on season 2 starts in May next year
World Poker Tour's second season of the Professional Poker Tour will start in May of 2006 despite delays occasioned by finding the right television channel for the event.
The popular first season of the Professional Poker Tour took place in November 2004 at Foxwoods during the World Poker Open, and was captured by John Juanda.
Observers on the poker scene say that the Tour has considerable potential in a television sense, due in no small measure to the top poker playing personalities that it attracts. Although the venue and the television programming for the event has yet to be announced, it is almost certain that one or more of the big channels will see it as a good bet.
