JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS
For the online gambler who has everything - 3 D and widescreen!
Gadget driven online gamblers will be intrigued by the latest thing in headware being reviewed by techiefreak sites this week - widescreen goggles.
The OLED 3D goggles are apparently capable of head tracking, so with software support a player's game view can shift depending in what direction he or she is looking.
The product delivers a 3D display by sending alternate frames to alternate screens, thus presenting the user with a full 3D point of view by showing a different image to each eye.
The visor weighs less than eight ounces, and although the OLED displays are only .59 inches diagonally, the picture gives you the equivalent of a 105 inch screen viewed at 12 feet, the company claims. It all sounds a little confusing....
The blurb concludes: "Add stereo sound and a noise cancelling microphone and you have a great gaming gadget that will make your gaming brain reel!"
And your wallet scream - we're talking 900 bucks here.
