CARMEN MEDIA ACQUIRIES CASINO AFFILIATE PROGRAM
Former business partner now an integral part of the group
Global gaming and entertainment group, Carmen Media has expanded its business portfolio with the acquisition of one of its successful affiliate programs, ReferBack Limited. The company uses affiliate marketers to direct players to Carmen's eleven online casinos, three online poker rooms and a sportsbook.
ReferBack has been the Casino Affiliate Program of choice for Carmen Media since 1999 and has played a significant role in the group's marketing activities. A spokesman for the group said that it planned to invest significantly in ReferBack's further development to complement "very ambitious plans for our online gaming brands."
One of the immediate benefits is the expansion of the ReferBack management team, headed up by newly-appointed Paul Gibbon as Affiliate Program Manager. Gibbon, who has 22 years of experience and was formerly with the international group 3M replaces Zane Green, who has taken up a new management position in Belle Rock Gaming. Marketing will be the responsibility of Leith Whitesman, and a carefully selected team of Affiliate Relationship Managers servicing different geographic areas is being assembled.
