GAMEBOOKERS SIGNS UP FOR SKILL GAMES
GameAccount gets the deal...
Skill game provider GameAccount has signed up Trident Gaming plc sportsbook subsidiary Gamebookers for skill games, giving access to its games to more European players.
The Gamebookers service will be powered by an integrated skill gaming solution supporting 3 key languages (English, German and French) alongside 4 currencies (Pound Sterling, US Dollars, Euros and Turkish Lira).
Commenting on the agreement, Trident CEO John O'Malia said: "We are excited to be adding skill gaming to our online portfolio. Gamebookers.com is offering skill games on a "dotnet" in order to be able to drive brand penetration in key markets ahead of the competition where local restrictions make it hard to advertise sports betting directly. This gives us a substantial competitive advantage, and will help Gamebookers grow substantially across Europe ahead of the World Cup in 2006."
Gamebookers is said to be backing the deal with a substantial marketing budget, and has secured in-stadium hoardings at 1 FC Nuremberg in Germany and St Etienne in France, with further deals on the way. The deal will enable both companies to further expand their presence in France and Germany. The latter country in particular, has seen substantial growth as a gaming market over the past twelve months.
A subsidiary of Ise of Man-based Trident Gaming plc, Gamebookers is a successful European multi-lingual sports betting site with over 180,000 registered customers from over 100 countries using seven languages. The company processed in excess of 20 million betting transactions in the last twelve months alone.
