Boss Media may provide software and network for new online venture
Scandinavian press reports this week suggest that the major Swedish gambling entity Svenska Spel has plans to enter the online poker sector.
The reports revealed that the company is to apply for a government license to include online poker offerings on its Svenska Spel.se site, with Boss Media (also a Swedish company) partnering in the supply of poker room and network software.
Boss, which has previously worked with Svenska Spel on other ventures has confirmed its interest in the project, subject to Svenska Spel's success in getting official blessing for the project.
