Whoever chose the timeframe for the first eGaming Review Awards dinner knew what he or she was about, timing the event for the Friday before the European I-Gaming conference when many online gambling execs would be in town on their way to Nice.

Apparently it was a glittering event held at The Brewery in the heart of the City of London and with close to 600 guests attending, the awards clearly had credibility and plenty of executive support.
