BODOG ONLINE GAMBLING GROUP TAKEOVER RUMOURS QUASHED

Bodog CEO Calvin Ayre says no merge and no acquisition

Persistent rumours that Costa Rican based online betting and music group Bodog.com was about to be taken over this week have been quashed by the CEO and founder, Calvin Ayre.

In a statement to Online-Casinos.com and InfoPowa, Ayre said:

In light of Bodog.com's massive gaming presence in the US market and its internationally recognized brand, it is of little surprise that Bodog.com is the subject of merger and acquisition rumors. As flattering as these rumors are, they are simply not true. As with many successful, growing companies, there are always rumors circulating about a potential buy-out or partnership. As Bodog.com continues to grow and gain more recognition in the mainstream market, we fully expect to be the target of this type of speculation."
