HOT CASINO STREAK @ THE ROULETTE TABLE

Here's a roulette player the casinos croupier won't forget

A 46 year old roulette player in London made sure his evening was a memorable one during the xmas holidays when, after losing over GBP 40 000 on roulette he decided to get some unusual payback by torching the casino....and the croupier!

The action occurred just before the new year's weekend, and casino staff spoke of large and escalating bets and losses sustained by the gambler, who visits the casino regularly. The losses infuriated the player as they mounted. "He was absolutely fuming," said one staffer.

Eventually the gambler left the premises, only to return a few hours later with two plastic containers filled with an inflammable liquid believed to be petrol. Before the shocked and astonished eyes of patrons and staff, he started spraying petrol over the croupier and table where he had experienced such bad luck earlier in the evening, shouting that the table was rigged.

Fortunately for all concerned, in the excitement some of the petrol found its way into the roulette player's eyes, rendering him hors d'combat for long enough for security staff to overpower him before he could end his evening on a fiery note.

The police took the roulette gambler, a businessman from Shepherd's Bush away, and it is believed he will face serious charges.
