ONLINE CASINO CAUTIONS: LAKE PALACE
Lake Palace group row continues...but there may be light at the end of the tunnel
Last week the Online-Casinos.com Online Casino Cautions section included a report on some very questionable bonus disqualification shenanigans prejudicing players at the Lake Palace group of online casinos. The furore continued this week with growing numbers of players posting their experiences across the message boards and slamming the casino management for its apparent arrogance and lack of energy in addressing the issue despite the holiday season.
As the week neared its close, however it appeared that management had creaked into action at last. Several players reported receiving emails reinstating their bonuses and apologising for the inconvenience. The emails offered the excuse that the casinos in the group has changed the T&Cs on 15 December and wrongly applied same to players wagering before that date. The changes apparently included imposing a ban on bonuses to Brits.
It remains early days yet to assess whether this attempt to put out the fires raging on the message boards is genuine and extends to all players who's bonuses were plundered.
The clumsy handling of this matter by casino marketers was unfortunate and dilatory - this casino group will have to work hard to recover its reputation in the player community.
Meantime, if you were among the players prior to December 15 who were the wrongful victims of this screw-up, contact the casino involved right away.
