The new year started with some new faces in the Paddy Power boardroom this week as Patrick Kennedy took over as CEO following the retirement of John O'Reilly at the end of 2005, and the retired head of the Pricewaterhouse Coopers insolvency department, Tom Grace took his place at the table as a non-executive director.

Grace was a partner at PwC and brings 34 years of business experience to the Board. Fintan Drury, chairman of Paddy Power said that Grace brings a wealth of experience and practical business savvy to the group.
