Takeover of Vegas Wireless Entertainment creates new opportunities
This week's takeover of Vegas Wireless Entertainment, a specialist creative and distribution firm for mobile entertainment, has presented Bico Inc with an opportunity to get into the mobile online gambling field, says the management company.
Bico inked a deal with VWE "....to take advantage of the rapidly emerging market of mobile online gambling products which will allow a global audience, regardless of service provider or handset manufacturer, to download and play a wide variety of popular casino style games, as well as participate in mobile lotteries and sports betting," says President and CEO Richard Greenwood.
The acquisition means BICO will be in a position to offer mobile games like Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Slots, all supported by an embedded e-payment processing solution for real time game play and wagering.
Greenwood revealed that a white label B2B product was also on the business agenda which will provide online casinos with a cost effective software solution to offer play on wireless handsets, without the need for their own development and IT staff.
Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, which is to close soon, Vegas Wireless shareholders will be issued shares representing 80 percent of the outstanding shares of BICO calculated on a fully diluted basis.
