Paddy Power Poker to produce cover version
Thumbs up to the Paddy Poker Poker marketers, who this week came up with
a new distribution method for their poker software.
The Irish online casino, poker and sportsbetting group has inked a deal with Brandedmedia
for the production of a promotional compact disc featuring its online poker software
in download form.
The discs will be inserted in the UK newspaper "The Times" on
February 25, reaching an audience of millions of readers - the first time
that a gaming promotional CD has been carried by a major national British newspaper,
they claim.
Watch this space - full details on costs have not yet been released and could
be considerable, and there is the risk of some adverse reaction from certain sectors
of the public.
