In a recent press release from Stockholm Sweden the software developer Cubeia Ltd, has announced its launch of the first open source multi-player server focused on the online gambling industry.
The release of Firebase 1.8 hails the beginning of a new era for mobile and hand held devise users. The support for the new platform HTML 5 that is expected to replace Flash in the future is available through this new software. The release brings HTML5 support in the form of WebSockets and Comet right into the Firebase server. After six months of development and testing the open source multi-player server integrates a game portfolio into a single platform no matter what technology the client is already using.
