NEW BOSS FOR GAMEACCOUNT
ex-Betdirect exec gets the nod
UK skill games group GameAccount has appointed Kevin Dale as CEO with immediate effect. He replaces John Jones.
Dale brings to the company over 6 years of experience in the gaming industry. He has been involved at GameAccount as a non-executive director to date, having previously been interim managing director at Betdirect. He was also marketing director at two of the industry’s biggest success stories, Sportingbet plc and Betfair.com.
Having witnessed the poker phenomenon and, first hand, the rise of person to person betting exchanges, Dale says he is keen to develop GameAccount as the next P2P major. His strategy for GameAccount is to integrate high revenue generating P2P gaming products which are distributed via its many bookie partners and white label sites.
The GameAccount integrated network brings together players from dozens of sportsbook, casino & poker sites worldwide, and recently acquired partner licensees include Victor Chandler and SkyBet, with more exciting partnerships to be announced in the first half of 2006.
Commenting on the company’s present and future, Dale said: “Each week, millions of dollars are won by high-staking players wagering within the network. Integrating our suite of Sit ‘n’ Go & knockout tournament games makes sense for operators searching for proven incremental rake-based revenues.”
