As Day 4 Ends 19 players are left
The weekend's big poker event, the World Poker Tour World Championship currently in progress at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, continued to grab attention today.
After 5 tough and competitive levels of play with truly major wagers, the original field of 606 are down to the final 19 players, all vying for a seat at the final table and a crack at the lion's share of the massive $15 125 000 prizepool.
Some of the biggest names in poker have already been eliminated, including greats like Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Evelyn Ng, David Williams, Victor Ramdin and Johnny Chan.
Last we heard, Simon Mousa led the chip count according to Bluff Magazine which is running a daily log at Bluffmagazine.com
Vanessa Rousso followed with $1.65 million in chips.
Among those still playing with odds assigned to them were: Men Nguyen at 12.6 to 1 odds, Chad Brown at 20 to 1 odds, Freddy Deeb at 12.6 to 1 odds, Matt Lefkowitz at 21.5 to 1 odds, and Ross Boatman 26 to 1.
