ONLINE CASINO GAMBLING CONFERENCE CORNER
The industry clans are starting to gather
Managers and executives from online casino gambling companies all over the globe
will be starting to wend their way to Montreal in the Quebec Province of
Canada this weekend in preparation for GIGSE.
The Global Gaming Summit and Expo conference has become the key event for
listening to the latest news and views and networking, and attracts everyone who
is anyone in the business.
Delegates can pick up their conference folders jam-packed with information on
Tuesday morning May 16 from 10 am at the Palais des Congres in downtown
Montreal and the conference gets under way at 1.00pm with a welcome from River
City organiser Sue Schneider, followed by the keynote address by expert
Internet academician and visionary Professor Lawrence Lessig.
Lessig's keynote address will focus on the unique issues the industry faces. In
his lecture, titled How Regulation Will Happen: The Leviathan Is Coming - The
Only Question Now is How, Professor Lessig will draw from a range of work
in legal theory and technical design to draw the map of his approach, outlining
how those who depend upon liberty for their livelihood can survive in the perfectly
regulated world that could be.
Expected to be the largest event ever for the interactive gambling industry, GIGSE
has already attracted close to 2,000 delegates from 45 countries. Headed
by this year's Platinum Sponsor, WireCard, over 120 companies will be
exhibiting or sponsoring activities at the tradeshow.
