GOOD NEWS FOR MAC ONLINE CASINO SLOTS FANS
New online casino software provider to launch Mac compatible and interactive
slots at GIGSE
New arrival on the turnkey provider scene, Rival Gaming (see previous Online-Casinos.com
& InfoPowa reports) was making much of its upcoming GIGSE launch this week
to emphasise that PDA and Mac casino players have access to their
interesting new product.
The new boys on the block are using the Global Interactive Gaming Summit and
Expo (GIGSE) on May 16-18, at Montreals Palais des Congrès, to
familiarise the industry with its i-Slots, which it claims radically update the
classic slot game by adding hugely entertaining extras such as animated video
clips, bonus interactive mini-games and evolving storylines that unfold over the
course of the game.
The games have been available to the public for a few weeks through four new online
casinos owned by The 400 Group out of Curacao (see previous Online-Casinos.com
& InfoPowa bulletins).
Many software developers have been claiming that their games are interactive,
said Scott Giesbrecht, Managing Director at Rival Gaming. But when
we looked at slots, we saw that we had a real opportunity to offer players something
that was far more captivating - and more fun - than anything theyd ever
seen.
Rival considers it has two important advantages over most of the competition.
The first is that all their casino software is now fully downloadable to Windows
and AppleMac - a development that gives Rival licensees access to the estimated
15 million Mac owners worldwide. The other is that Rival now enables its operators
to view their reports via Blackberry or other PDA - which means they can access
their casino data from anywhere.
The innovation that is sure to draw crowds to the Rival booth at GIGSE, however,
is the i-Slot itself. People are going to have to see it to believe it,
boasts Ken McCormack, VP Corporate Marketing at Rival. Were
talking about something that not only makes playing a single game far more entertaining
- but one thats going to keep players coming back for more.
