ONLINE GAMBLING WALLET NETELLER JUST KEEPS GROWING
Online gambling e-cash processor's latest results - 2.6 million users and deposits of $4.7 million a day
Isle of Man registered financial services company Neteller just keeps growing, and the current first quarter 2006 results confirm the ongoing trend for this well managed group.
According to its latest trading update, the ubiquitous e-cash provider so widely used in online gambling has seen average daily receipts soar to US$4.7 million (GBP 2.5 million) from US$2.87million in the same period last year.
A stunning 3 609 users signed up every day on average for the quarter, while total customers at quarter end were over 2.6 million. Total revenues were up 69 percent to US$57.9 million over the period while the company achieved gross margins of 73.5 percent.
Last week (see previous Online-Casinos.com & InfoPowa report), Neteller announced expansion across Europe and now offers local language and Euro payment options, with a 24-hour resident-speaking helpdesk facility. It has also expanded its Asian offering and overhauled its existing technology with a Java platform.
Neteller’s English-only site has 3 400 merchants across 160 countries, and has more than 2.6 million customers.
