GBP 3 million secured in private equity deal
Based in Manchester, UK the mobile games developer Million-2-1 took to the private equity circuit this week, raising GBP 3 million to further expansion plans.
The company develops lotteries, skill games and auctions which are played on mobile phones, TV sets and the Internet, and has agreements in place in China, Australia, the Netherlands and Ireland and will be launching in the USA, Spain and South Africa later this year.
"We have ambitious expansion plans to capitalise on the projected growth in televised and internet-based gambling and on our increasing number of international partnership deals" CEO Chris Sheffield said.
