Michigan resident wins WSOP seat from the card room Sun Poker

The online poker card room Sun Poker was looking for the best Texas Hold 'Em poker player in Michigan to represent 'Sun' in the 2006 World Series
of Poker. Claude Mason, 35, from Taylor, Michigan has been crowned by Sun Poker as their "King of the Palace" Champion. Mason's Grand Prize is a $10,000 seat to play in the 2006 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, as well as round trip airfare and accommodations.

Claude Mason won by taking part in the four month long "King of the Palace" tournament, a series of online and live poker tournaments to find the best poker player in Michigan, sponsored and organized by Sun Poker.

Claude Mason, a father of three, battled it out against thousands of other online poker players, and beat out nine other WSOP hopefulls live at the Palace of Auburn Hills to win his seat to the richest poker event in history. "Playing in the World Series of Poker has always been a dream of mine" says Claude Mason "I'm playing very well right now and I plan on shocking the world by winning the event! I also look forward to sharing this trip with my family"

Not only will Mason's family be there, so will poker professional Kenna James who has invited Claude to a private Sun Poker Party for a few lessons before the big event.
