NEW SITE FOR MICROGAMING POKER NETWORK - TELLPOKER
TellPoker Looking to Turn Players into Company Shareholders
The Microgaming Poker Network added a new member to its operator ranks
this week with the admission of TellPoker.com, which brings with it the
innovative Pokershare style approach of attracting new customers by making
their players shareholders in the company. During the first one and a half
years of business TellPoker will give away 40 percent of its revenue, and 20 percent
of the company shares.
We think its fair that those players generating growth and value for
TellPoker, should be shareholders in the company, said Anders Ericsson,
co-founder of TellPoker. In addition to giving shares to their players, TellPoker
offers a very powerful affiliate program for those referring friends to the site.
Mathias Ringblom, co-founder says We are very happy to be a part
of the Microgaming network, offering thousands of players a huge variety of poker
games and many satellites to the biggest tournaments around the world.
TellPoker also offers players a chance to join two reputable poker professionals,
Andreas Hurtig and Jonas Norrman as part of their Pro Team. Hurtig
and Norman will act as coaches and team leaders, while also playing in TellPoker
sponsored tournaments around the world. Hurtig will start by playing the World
Series of Poker main event in his tailor made TellPoker suit.
To join the Pro Team players can submit an online application. TellPoker is currently
reviewing several applications from online players and the winners will have a
chance to demonstrate their poker prowess at the European Poker Tournament in
Barcelona in September. Players who refer a friend to TellPoker and who go on
to win money in any of the pro team events will earn five percent of the player's
winnings. Several poker clubs have also contacted the company about cooperation.
With over 40 card rooms and one of the most aggressive tournament schedules on
the web, Microgamings poker network ensures players will always find an
active table, as well as the hottest action. Microgamings Progressive Network
has paid out over $199 million since inception three years ago.
As a founding member of eCOGRA, Microgaming is also at the forefront of
an initiative focused on setting the highest standards in the gaming industry,
most notably in the areas of fair gaming, responsible operator conduct and player
protection.
TellPoker is based on Malta and Curacao, The Netherlands Antilles.
The gaming license is issued to TellPoker N.V in Curacao, which is fully
owned by TellPoker Ltd Malta.
