NEW FACE FOR CELEB POKER SITE
Unique features claimed for revamped online poker website
Online poker room CelebPoker.com has launched an improved version
of their poker software including many features unavailable anywhere else.
Players can now make notes on their competition, see their winning hands
highlighted and filter games quickly based on their criteria.
The interactive celebrity poker room has released an upgraded version of their
online poker room software. Based on new demands made by players, the poker
software looks and feels more like a real card room, and among the features
added are ways in which players can keep track of the competition and winning
hands in a way that was previously unavailable.
"Player Notes" allows players to keep track of other competition in
real time. Above each player at the table there is a small pen icon that can
be clicked on and opened. In the screen a player can make notes for future reference
about another’s style, betting patterns and speed. This window looks much
like a notepad and allows players to enter any information they feel is useful
to remember.
To speed up the process of selecting a game that fits a player's demands, new
table and tournament filters have been added. New filter buttons are now visible
which makes it more convenient for players to locate the kind of tables and
tournaments they are interested in.
Additional information is now available at the table, such as the total amount
in the pot at any one time. The amount includes the amount in the main pot as
well as the sum of all currently placed bets on the table. Unlike many poker
rooms the real totals are presented as soon as the bets are placed into the
pot. When the winning hand has been determined; the cards that make up that
hand are highlighted, allowing players to see each hand won clearly and learn
from and recognise a bad bet/beat sequence. The number of poker hands available
as hand history accessible from the poker table has been increased to 1 000
hands.
On the technical front there have been improvements and upgrades added as well.
One major convenience feature is improved access to the cashier. The online
cashier center can now be opened by clicking on the chip tray on the poker table
and deposits can be made seamlessly.
With more tournaments and large cash games taking place this summer connectivity
has been upgraded as well. CelebPoker’s software system now has a more
sophisticated way of handling unexpected disconnections and will try to reconnect
players to the gaming system instead of restarting their poker clients. This
will allow players to immediately be inserted back into the game and table they
were a part of prior to a disconnection.
