Sketchy reports from Sweden this week allege that four as yet unnamed magazines have been advised that they could be in trouble for advertising gambling operations that may be competitive with the State's lottery monopoly.
The magazines could face official sanctions after allegedly violating the country's law regarding by publishing ads other than those for State lottery Svenska Spel. The Gaming Board for Sweden reported the alleged violations to the authorities.
