Last week Online-Casinos.com and InfoPowa reported on the imminent debut of the new Microsoft Texas Hold Em Poker game for Xbox Live Arcade, and the event proved to be every bit as popular as predicted, breaking records for Microsoft as the most in-demand download yet on the Xbox Live Arcade.
On its first day out, the Texas Hold'Em poker game was in demand to the tune of 100 downloads a minute - the fastest ever on Xbox - over a 24 hour period.
The new product is the first poker game to be launched on Xbox Live and features online multiplayer capability and efficient tracking of rankings, wins and the players' bankrolls. Released on August 25, Texas Hold Em was available as a free download for the first 48 hours, creating a massive demand.
