eCOGRA is currently undertaking what is believed to be the largest research initiative into player behaviour and attitudes - the eCOGRA Global Online Gambler Survey. Launched on September 6th, the survey aims to capture the views of 20 000 online poker and casino players, with the findings set to be made public in January 2007. The survey is expected to remain open for the next few months and anyone wishing to take part should visit - Ecogra.org. Early reports from the Nevada University and Nottingham Trent University research teams carrying out the survey are that 25 percent of the 20 000 respondents sought have already made their views known.
