Beta testing ongoing on new technology, which is not yet fully in place
Mega online poker site PartyPoker.com has announced the availability of a Mac compatible download and a browser based application to empower Mac players. Beta testing is continuing at this time to allow more players to take part in the new poker action on Party, but there are some drawbacks.
Although plans are in place to introduce it later, there is at this time no capability for multi-table or sit and go tournaments, but cash games are available. The rollout of the tournament options is soon to come, PartyPoker spokesman report.
Other features, such as making notes on other players, hand histories and the like are not up to speed yet, and there have been time lag reports involving Java based browsers used by Linux users. These are all issues that are being urgently addressed.
