16 page monthly mini-mag set for end October launch
The British magazine group Dennis Publishing is in the final stages of launching a new 16 page poker mini-magazine which will make its debut in the centre of the popular men's magazine Maxim on 26 October.
Titled "Total Poker" the new publication will be one inch smaller than Maxim and printed on glossier paper.
Dennis Publishing spokesmen said that the publishing house decided to create the mini-magazine after discovering that poker ranked as the number two favourite hobby among its Maxim readers.
Total Poker will be dedicated entirely to poker and will feature articles on poker strategy and tips. It is written and edited by Dennis Publishing's gambling team which has wide experience in other gambling-related magazine ventures.
