PLAYSHARE DECIDES ON A U.S. COMPROMISE

Players from 11 states will be banned


Playshare plc, the online casino and poker room group has announced that it will no longer accept business from US players in the following states, which have specific anti-online gambling restrictions:

Michigan
Illinois
Louisiana
Oregon
Washington
Wisconsin
Indiana
Nevada
South Dakota
New Jersey
New York

The ban is in response to the recent signing into law of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act and will affect group operations such as CasinoShare.com, PokerShare.com and the recently acquired Grand Monaco Casino.com

The new ruling applies to all new and existing players residing in the States listed. Players from these states will no longer be able to play on the group's software, and existing players from these states have had their accounts closed and funds returned.
