Sportsbetting sector to meet in Austria
The industry’s first annual global sports betting conference has been officially branded BetMarkets, and will take place in Vienna’s Le Meridien Hotel, Austria, on Monday 26 – Tuesday 27 March 2007.
The event will represent the first time sports betting professionals from around the world have been able to come together for a dedicated conference designed specifically to meet the needs of the online and land based sports betting industries.
BetMarkets is pitched at the global senior executive level and will tackle the most significant issues affecting the industry, such as developing strategic and marketing success in emerging markets; confronting legal change; and developing effective technological solutions in betting shops, payments and multiple platforms.
Speakers for the conference are already being confirmed, and so far include Matt Jellicoe, Sales Director, Sportingbet; Gabriel Chaleplis, Managing Director, Betshop; Jacob Weinreich, Nordic Marketing Manager, Betfair; and Martin Arendts, Partner, Anlageanwalt.
