GOOD OUTLOOK FOR WILLIAM HILL BETTING GROUP
William Hills full year profits should live up to expectations
Releasing a trading update this week, the British betting group William Hill predicted that full-year profits should be in line with expectations.
Shares in the company rose following the announcement and a comment from chief executive David Harding that he was confident about prospects for the current year as the company prepares to step up its overseas expansion.
The land and online gambling group has recently forged an alliance with Codere, an operator of slot machines, bingo halls, racetracks and casinos in Spain, Italy and South America. William Hill and Codere are to open a chain of betting shops across Italy.
