BETFAIR POKER PLAYER TAKES DOWN $207K IN 29 SECONDS!
Among the highest pots ever at Betfair Poker, this one was also one of the fastest
In a hand that lasted only 29 seconds, online player Rosiepod took down one of the largest ever pots on Betfair Poker.
Having made a King High Flush after the flop, Rosiepod called several aggressive bluffs from her opponent Sincero which ended with each player contributing over $100 000 to the pot in a recent final heads up confrontation on the site.
“It takes calm nerves to play at these levels. The final bluff from Sincero cost more than $60 000. He knew that if Rosiepod called he’d be beaten, it was a gutsy play. On the other hand, from the way Sincero was betting, Rosiepod must have been concerned about the only hand that could beat him – these stakes are not for the faint hearted,” said Betfair spokesman Oliver Bowen.
Pots in excess of $150 000 are apparently becoming a regular occurrence on Betfair Poker. With a maximum rake per pot of only $1 on the $250/$500 NL HU tables there is certainly value for the big pros.
