After five full days of play and a starting field of 200 players, the World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic was decided this week at a final table of six players. By the end of the session a relative newcomer to the game had sealed a $1 272 905 first prize victory.
Winner Raj Patel has been playing for only two years, but his smart and aggressive style overcame more experienced players and carried him to the final heads up with Paul Matteo, and that million dollar victory.
