SKYBET GROWING FAST
Over 20 000 players visit Sky Poker and sisters over past three months
Skybet's revolutionary Sky Poker site (see previous Online-Casinos.com/InfoPowa report) has been pulling the crowds in, according to a comment in parent BSkyB's third quarterly report out this week.
Modestly describing Skybet's performance since February as "a good start" the report notes that Skybet operating profit from the sportsbetting and gaming products is up 26 percent over the same period last year, reaching GBP 34 million, and that the venture has attracted over 20 000 customers over the past three months.
The company's acquisition of 365 Media earlier this year is hailed as “on track and performing in line with expectations”.
