LOVEMAN TO STAY AT HARRAH'S

Highly regarded chief remains at the helm despite $17.5 million takeover


High profile Las Vegas chief executive Gary Loveman will remain at the helm of gambling giant Harrah's Entertainment Inc according to a press release issued by the company this week.

Loveman's position as chairman, president and CEO is expected to remain despite completion of the merger of Harrah's with affiliates of TPG and Apollo Management, L.P., which is expected to occur early 2008.

Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. is the world's largest provider of branded casino entertainment. Since its beginning in Reno, Nevada, nearly 70 years ago, Harrah's has grown through development of new properties, expansions and acquisitions, and now owns or manages casinos on four continents.

The company's properties operate primarily under the Harrah's, Caesars and Horseshoe brand names; Harrah's also owns the London Clubs International family of casinos.
